Target Market

Andale Latino Grill On Wheels (Andale On Wheels) serves a diverse yet interconnected audience, strategically engaging with multiple groups to maximize impact, sustainability, and long-term success. Our unique hybrid model allows us to address childhood food insecurity while simultaneously creating a self-sustaining revenue stream that funds meal distribution.

PRIMARY BENEFICIARIES: Underserved Children in South, West, and Outskirts of Philadelphia

At the heart of our mission are the thousands of food-insecure children in Philadelphia, particularly in South, West, and the outskirts of the city, where access to fresh, nutritious food is severely limited. These areas are known as food deserts, where families often lack nearby grocery stores and rely on fast food or convenience store items for sustenance. Many of these children rely on school meal programs, but during evenings, weekends, and school breaks, they face significant food gaps that can lead to malnutrition, poor academic performance, and long-term health issues.

Andale On Wheels directly addresses this need by:

1. Delivering free, hot, and nutritious meals to children at Police Athletic League (PAL) centers, schools, and other community locations where they already gather.
2. Eliminating access barriers by using a mobile food delivery method served in a dignified manner combiled with other social skills mentoring , which can reach children in neighborhoods where traditional food assistance programs are not available.
3. Providing culturally inspired meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of the communities we serve, ensuring that meals are not only nutritious but also familiar and enjoyable for the children.

By focusing on direct meal distribution, Andale On Wheels ensures that children receive the nourishment they need to thrive, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Our secondary target audience includes:
🔹 Large university campus  students and faculty, who provide a steady customer base when the food truck is stationed near campus.
🔹 Event attendees at local festivals, markets, and public gatherings, where Andale On Wheels participates as a vendor, using sales profits to fund free meals.
🔹 General residents of Philadelphia who enjoy authentic Latino flavors and wish to support a cause-driven business that gives back to the community.

SECONDARY AUDIENCE:

General Public, Campuses of Philadelphia’s large universities Students, and Event Attendees

A key component of Andale On Wheels’ sustainability model is its ability to generate revenue through food sales. While our primary mission is to serve children in need, we also operate as a social enterprise, selling fresh, high-quality Latino cuisine to the general public at various locations.

Time sensitive customers can take advantage of placing orders in advance and pick up at a certain time or delivery with one our reliable partners such as UBER or DoorDash.

These paying customers play a critical role in our mission. By purchasing meals from Andale On Wheels, they directly contribute to funding free meal distribution for children, We must adhere to our commitment to quality food sold and or delivered to every guest every time and to every child every time.

. This socially responsible business model creates a sustainable revenue stream, reducing our reliance on external grants and donations while expanding our impact.
